Here are some things you may or may not have known about me. :)

  1. I didn’t have a middle name till I got married.
  2. I only have one sibling, a sister, who is younger than me.
  3. My sister’s birthday is one week before Valentine’s Day. My sister-in-law’s birthday is one week after.
  4. I’m older than my husband by 10 months.
  5. My husband and I were engaged for 5 years before we got married.
  6. I went to school with one of the guys from *NSync.
  7. I wore braces for 3 years in high school. Had them removed right before graduation.
  8. I didn’t get my driver’s license till I was 17. No particular reason either.
  9. I’ve been a fan of Tweety Bird for such a long time that my daughter’s nursery was decorated in Baby Looney Tunes.
  10. I was a major fan of New Kids on the Block in high school.
  11. I am hispanic and speak Spanish with relatives.
  12. I had LASIK surgery in January 2005.
  13. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in February 2002.
  14. I went to Catholic school for grades 1-5.
  15. My grandmother, mother, myself and my sister all have first names that start with the letter ‘A’. That’s the main reason I named my daughter Amelia.
  16. I got married 3 days after Valentine’s day.
  17. My c-section was my first and only major surgery.
  18. I graduated with a bachelor degree in Environmental Science.
  19. I became a Mac user in October 2004.
  20. I’ve lived in Panama.
  21. I honeymooned in Sedona, Arizona.
  22. I taught myself to knit and crochet in January of 2004.
  23. Knitting is my yoga.
  24. I learned to spin in 2008.
  25. I was born in Bethesda, Maryland at the naval hospital.
  26. I was born 5 weeks early.
  27. I weighed 3lbs 7oz at birth.
  28. I suffered from mild depression my junior year of college.
  29. I love coffee.
  30. I’ve never donated blood.
  31. I was in the colorguard my sophomore year of college.
  32. I worked at Blockbuster Video my senior year of high school.
  33. I’ve also worked at an auto parts store (see #41).
  34. I’m an avid reader.
  35. We have a 55gal fish tank with 8 cichlids.
  36. I have two dogs…Sadie (cocker spaniel/miniature husky) and Dakota (german/aussie shepard).
  37. I’ve never had a broken bone.
  38. All the web design skills I have, I learned on my own.
  39. I’m a computer programmer.
  40. I’ve been programming in Visual Basic since 2000.
  41. I love my job.
  42. I also am designing and developing a database in SQL Server 2005.
  43. I worked at Advance Auto Parts in college.
  44. I’ve only ever skipped out on work without calling in one time.
  45. I got engaged the day after Christmas in 1996, but kept it a secret until the following month when DH finally got the nerve to “ask” my dad.
  46. We broke up several times during our 4.5 year engagement.
  47. I almost went to the University of Texas at Austin for a Master’s in Library Science.
  48. Johnny Damon went to my high school. He graduated a year ahead of me.
  49. I do my scrapbooking digitally with Adobe Photoshop.
  50. I started wearing glasses in 3rd grade.
  51. My best friend in high school drove a cadillac to school.
  52. My favorite movie of all time is Annie.
  53. I once coveted a laptop so badly, I would cry.
  54. I have an iPod and use it mainly to listen to podcasts.
  55. I still sometimes can’t believe I have a daughter.
  56. I found out I was pregnant a week before our 5 year anniversary.
  57. My daughter celebrated 4 months old on our 6 year anniversary.
  58. Even though I was engaged for so long, it still felt weird to call my DH my fiance.
  59. I was a geek in high school and graduated with the Math Honor Society and the Beta Club.
  60. I was named after a little town in Spain, but have never been to Europe.
  61. I’ve seen 5 Cirque du Soleil shows: Allegria, La Neuba, Quidam, Vareki, and Dralion.
  62. I’ve been working on my first quilt since 2005. I’ve barely made any progress on it and finally gave it to my mom to finish.
  63. As of today (Sept 24, 2007), I still have yet to complete my first knitted sweater.
  64. I taught my sister how to knit.
  65. I don’t like scary movies and the only one I would watch when I was little was Poltergeist.
  66. I almost flew out of a roller coaster when I was 5 years old.
  67. Now I love roller coasters!
  68. I don’t like onions or peanut butter.
  69. My daughter has her own iPod (I gave her my old one when I got a Nano).
  70. I didn’t get my first tooth til I was 14 months old.
  71. My daughter got her first tooth at 14 months old.
  72. I love doing jigsaw puzzles and have done a photomosaic puzzle and a 3-D puzzle.
  73. I love trivia games.
  74. I’m learning to weave in 2008 on a rigid heddle loom.
  75. I also learned to loom knit in 2008.
  76. I love Edie’s real strawberry ice cream.
  77. I can’t roll my tongue.
  78. I’ve blogged with Movable Type, Blogger, WordPress and Textpattern.
  79. I learned visual basic on my own.
  80. When I was six, I was obsessed with Strawberry Shortcake.
  81. Once upon a time, my mom promised to get me all the My Little Pony ponies; until they started coming out with hundreds of them.
  82. I have extremely high cholesterol and have to control it with medication.
  83. I used to have a crush on Kirk Cameron.
  84. I didn’t grow up near any of my relatives.
  85. We used to have flying squirrels as pets.
  86. I do not have any tattoos.
  87. I have 3 ear piercings, but only wear earrings in the first ones.
  88. I do not like beans.
  89. I have dual citizenship (US and Dominican Republic), because my dad is Dominican and I am granted citizenship by default at birth.
  90. I am right handed.
  91. I collect coffee mugs.
  92. I used to record all 3 NBC soap operas (Days of Our Lives, Another World & Santa Barbara) when I was in high school and watch them after school.
  93. I’ve never seen Nightmare on Elm Street.
  94. I weighed 85lbs when I graduated high school.
  95. I’ve always wanted to own a book store, although now a yarn store would be good too.
