Cooking Fish

Written on July 30, 2007 – 10:14 am

I cooked fish for the first time a few nights ago. I never had before because I didn’t know how and was afraid. Lame, I know. But while my in-laws were here, MIL cooked some Tilapia and explained how she normally cooks it.

So I tried it the other night. I pan fried it in a little bit of olive oil after seasoning it with lemon juice and Old Bay Seasoning. It was so good, I ate two whole fillets and that’s a lot for me. I was so proud of myself. It was delicious. And now I’m not afraid anymore, so I’ll be able to add fish to our collection of dinner dishes. Next time I need to learn to fry some catfish.
