I started browsing some old blog reads from a few years back and got the bloggy bug. I sort of miss my old “fun and personal” blog. Where we had fun linky sort of stuff on the site. Lots of colors and images. So…
I’ve added some buttons in order to bring more color to the site. I think it was getting kind of bland with just text. Just a few to liven things up. It also helps make the site look a little more like a personal blog rather than something so impersonal. After all, this is my personal blog. The hard part is deciding when enough is enough.
Oh yeah. I also added the 100 things about me. As of yet there are only 60-something items, so it’s not finished. But have a lookie.

We put Amelia in her pool yesterday evening. She had such a good time splashing around and didn’t want to get out, even though the wind was blowing and making it chilly out.
We got some pictures, so I’ll have to get them off mom and dad’s cameras before they leave tomorrow.

My baby girl is 7 months old today! And what happens? She topples over while sitting on the floor this morning and get a pretty scratch on her cheek because she fell onto her toys. Poor baby!
But with every day, she somehow gets cuter and cuter. She now puts her arms out when she wants me to pick her up and this morning she even leaned towards me with arms open. She gives kisses and hugs and is becoming a pro at rolling over onto her belly.
She scoots backwards and is very close to figuring out how to crawl. She says ‘dada’ and babbles constantly, but has yet to say ‘mama’. She loves the dogs and will look for them in the house. She loves her Tigger bouncer and even laughs, squeals and gets carried away when she’s bouncing.
She puts herself to sleep at night and sleeps from about 7:30pm to 6am! But I think she’s starting to prefer having the room dark at night.
I love my daughter more each day and it still amazes me that I gave birth to such a beautiful little girl. HAPPY 7 MONTH BIRTHDAY, Amelia!

I think I got the site working again. It’s officially running on Textpattern again. No pretty monthly archives as of yet, but I’m looking into it. Still a few quirks to straighten out, but for the most part everything is back up and running. I even opened up commenting again.
I hope to start posting more pictures of my project progress and more stuff in general. I think I’ve been slacking in content. But I did have my old posts from the last time I was using TXP (I didn’t delete the database), so I once again have the majority of the posts from when I started blogging back in ’02.
Let’s all cross our fingers that I don’t do some major renovating again anytime soon. Just maybe layout change once in a while. This overhaul thing is tiring. LOL!

Last night DH and Amelia got on the floor and played with the dogs. Amelia loved it so much she couldn’t stop giggling! It was so fun watching her laugh; I got tears in my eyes.
And she drank a whole 4oz bottle all by herself last night…DH only had to show her how to tip it up a little higher when she got about 1/2 way through it.
