PS Element Creation

Written on August 1, 2005 – 2:46 pm

My class on Realistic Element creation has begun. I signed up for this 4 week course at Digital Scrapbook Place in hopes of learning a little more about how to design scrapbook elements.

I’ve learned a lot just in the process of trying to scraplift a paper layout to digital. Nothing specific but just several little tricks that you can do in Photoshop to make life easier. Such as creating a working path so that text stays inside your working path automatically wrapping. Something so simple yet, I didn’t know how to do this and kept hitting return whenever my text got to long. Now I just create a path and type inside of it.

My first class was just getting to now the styles panel and how much you can change just by altering the layer style. It really is amazing what you can do with just a style.

I can’t wait to learn how to make bows!
