LASIK

Written on January 27, 2005 – 1:16 pm

It’s official. I will be going in to have LASIK surgery tomorrow afternoon. I’m so excited. I had my pre-op yesterday and everything went great. For reference purposes, my current vision (before LASIK) is count fingers at 3 feet. They measure it that way once you go past 20/400. So I’m pretty blind right now without glasses or contacts. I’ll post my new vision after the procedure and let you know how it went.

In other news, I just got a new computer at work. It’s so nice and fast. :) It’s a 3GHz P4 with 1GB of RAM and an 80GB hard drive. I’m also running dual 19” flat panel LCD monitors on 128MB of video RAM. It’s running XP Pro and it’s pretty awesome so far.

I just got through installing all the software I need for work and transferring my files from my old machines. Hopefully nothing will mess up when I next start compiling source code. < crossing my fingers />

Rayne! I know the surgery will be a great success and you will be so so happy afterwards!

Have your hubby leave us a note here to tell us you are okay!

I’ll be thinking good thoughts for you!
