I will be going to see Rascal Flatts on Thursday. I am definitely looking forward to it. My sister-in-law will be going with me. Since I am a member of the fan club, I was able to get VIP tickets so we are supposed to be sitting in ROW 2! It will be so much fun.
I ordered the tickets and we will pick them up at the Will Call Box when we get there. So last night, I had a dream that we had to pick up the tickets no later than 10 minutes before the show and we missed the deadline. I was freaking out trying to run over to get them before time ran out and for some reason I couldn’t run fast enough. It’s like I was running, but my feet were moving in slow motion. Sort of like trying to run in water up to your shoulders.
Very bizarre since we will most likely get to Orlando mid afternoon and go directly to pick up the tickets. Then if we have time, meander around Orlando before the show. There’s no way we would arrive within 10 minutes. We will probably head to the arena an hour before the show is to start. So I shouldn’t worry, but I was definitely freaking out in my dream.
It was horrible! I’m just glad it was only a dream and we haven’t missed the show. I’m getting more excited as the days get closer to Thursday. Granted I have a long drive ahead of me. I’m stopping off in Gainesville to meet up with my SIL, then we’re headed to Orlando. We may even get lucky and snag a room at the Peabody Thursday night after the show, so we don’t have to drive back so late.

We are off to Florida to visit with family for the holidays. It will be a chance to see family that I haven’t seen in several years and to meet my sister’s new boyfriend, the one she met in Spain.
I have been requested to bring my wedding album so that I can show family. We are also taking down a computer for the in-laws.
Last year, a friend gave my MIL a photomosaic puzzle that had us in fits the entire time we were there. We were determined to finish it before we came back home, so my husband and I stayed up till 4 am on New Years Day, but we finished it. So for the headache this friend caused, I have a puzzle box that has 3 different puzzles in it. The three came together in the box but were individually wrapped. I completed each puzzle and put it aside. Once done, I took a photo of the 3 completed puzzles and broke them down. But I put all the pieces in the box together. You think, “not too bad,” but they all have the same color backing, and the shapes are similar, so you have to solely go by the portion of the picture that is on that piece to determine which of the three puzzles that piece belongs to. It’s payback for the horrendous photomosaic dolphin that we did last year. It’s kind of disappointing to know that she will probably never attempt the challenge we will present her. But the idea of it, it so pleasing.

Saturday we went and saw National Treasure. What a great movie. I think Nicholas Cage was great. I’ve heard that this movie has gotten mixed reviews, but I can say I really enjoyed it. Although I kept expecting a more climatic ending…the bad guys coming back after realizing they’d been duped. But other than that, it was good and definitely one I’d get on DVD.
We finally watched Shrek 2 and I have to say it was a little over the top. There were way too many references to other movies, shows, songs, etc. It lost it’s originality because of it and I didn’t quite enjoy it as much as the first movie. It also felt more adult-oriented than the first, probably because of the many pop culture references. The DVD had a few special features that were fun. And I do have to mention that I loved Puss. Antonio did an excellent job and the cat was one of my favorite characters. He was up there with Donkey in my book. I liked the Fairy Godmother…she was fun but her “evil factor” was minor so she wasn’t a character to hate.
