Dad is OK
Dad is okay for now. The pacemaker is doing it’s job. His heart rate was 40 when they took him to the hospital. He is still getting dizzy though. He has some medication to help that and he has an appointment with an Ear, Nose and Throat specialist this week, because they think he has a middle ear inflammation. He was feeling much better when I left Friday evening. I feel much better now that I went down there to see him. It was good to see him and mom again.
I also got to meet my sister’s little dog…he is such a cutie, I wanted to take him home. He is so small, weighing about 3 pounds and is so hyper. Because he is part chihuahua and part miniature daschund, he has huge ears and they stick straight up. They actually look like butterfly wings. And the vet called him a chiweenie, so his nickname is weenie. He is the cutest thing. I look forward to the day I get a dog that little. But actually my sister says he is going to get pretty big, because his mom was big.
So we are home, dad is doing ok and they are still planning to come visit at the end of May. They will also be stopping here on the way home as soon as dad gets the all clear to travel.

Glad to hear your Dad is doing better!
Wonderful news.
