New Office
I’ve mentioned before that my husband drives an hour to and from work everyday. Well, no more. Starting this week or next he will be working from an office here in town. The campus here in town works different hours since they are a branch of the main campus. They only work till noon on Fridays. So if my husband gets those hours as well, he will have 1/2 days every Friday. Plus he is downtown, as am I. I look forward to going to lunch with my hubby. And having him so close will be wonderful. He might actually be getting home before me. In addition to all that he’s getting a small raise. Needless to say we are very happy.
In other news, I sold my old laptop to my parents. My sister needs a new one for her trip to Spain this summer. She is taking one semester abroad. With the money I got for the laptop I hope to get a new stove. The one we have works ok but it’s really old and I really don’t like the burners. It isn’t a ceramic top with flat burners, but the burners are solid. It gets extremely hot and takes forever to cool down…more so than a standard stovetop. I hope to get a new stove with flat burners. I’m looking for one that has a double burner (can be set for large or small). I prefer that to a warming center. Sometimes you just need another large burner. We’re going to look around and see what we can find.

Yea! That’s great!
Hey!! congrats on the new job!! that is great!!!
I got a new stove last month and I loooooooooooooove it! The ceramic cooktop is so nice (and I’ve used either electric burners or gas burners my whole life). We got a good deal on ours at Lowe’s.
Track lighting sounds awesome! Boy could I use some of that…mmmm.. His birthday is coming up. Think he would go for track lighting for the dinning room as a gift? hehe
Congrats on your anniversary! and on hubbys new job too. Have fun searching for your new stove.. I love mine (well except for having to polish the surface after each use..but I’ll survive)
