Plant Help

Written on May 5, 2003 – 5:49 pm

Ok. I need some help. I don’t know much about plants, but we planted 2 pink oleanders about 3 weeks ago. I’ve noticed that some of the leaves have started turning yellow. I don’t know what that means…do they need more water or less. We’ve been watering them according to a sheet we got at the nursery where we bought them. I don’t want them to die…please help. At least our maple seems to be doing good and our gardenias have finally started blooming! woohoo!

In other news, I saw a car tag that said “IOU DAD”. Is it safe to guess that Dad bought the car?

Could they need fertilizer?? I’d go back to the nursery and ask questions. Or have you searched the web for care of Oleanders?

Are they getting enough water? or maybe too much. We’ve had trouble with spots dying in our yard this year (probably grubs muching on the roots), but so far nothing seems to be dying plant wise. My gardenia hasn’t bloomed yet..but she’s getting ready too! :-) Good luck with your oleanders.
