Earthquake

It sucks to be sick…especially when the sinus pressure is so bad…your face hurts so much you can’t see straight! Yuck! If my throat would quit hurting so much, I might actually be able to get some rest. Agh!

Anyway, Stacey, did you feel the earthquake this morning? Apparently there was a 4.9 near Fort Payne, AL…very north east section. But way down here in Montgomery, I felt the house shake! I’m sitting up in bed in the guest room trying to will away the throat scratchiness so I can get some sleep and the bed shook. The lamp in the room shook also. I couldn’t figure out what it was. When my husband was getting ready for work, I asked him if he’d gotten up. He said no and I explained what had happened. He said, I couldn’t do that! Later watching the news, they mentioned the earthquake. I can’t believe that’s what I felt. It was slightly amazing actually. Fortunately, there have been no reports of injuries or damage, but apparently it was felt from AL to NC!

I just heard about that on the radio! Wow!

I’m hate to hear you’re sick. I know exactly how you feel, though. I had the same horrible thing about month or so ago. Get well, sweetie!

I’m sorry you aren’t feeling good, sore throats are the worst. I hope you get to feeling better soon.

We felt the earthquake here in Columbus too. It was scary only because you weren’t sure if it was only going to be the one shake.

Earthquake? Here? J/K…I did see that on the noon news, but if it reached us here, I slept right through it!

Hope you feel better soon! ((HUGS))

I’m in Tennessee and it rocked the house. The kids shot out of bed, we didn’t know what it was!
