Pizza Chip Update

Thursday, February 27th, 2003

Here’s an update on the Pizza Chip search. I received a response from the Keebler people. They sold their entire salty snack line to Wabash Foods. So I did a search and found Poore Brothers Inc.. Apparently they now have these wonderful snacks. You can even purchase these fabulous snacks online and have them delivered to your home! Slightly expensive, but if it’s the only way to have some…splurge a little and treat yourself.

Kathy and Crystal: They have your Tato Skins! Unfortunately they do not currently have the Pizzarias for purchase. I did send an email asking how I could get my hands on some, since they aren’t sold where I live.

Maybe I’ll get lucky and finally be able to get some. At least I’m getting closer! :)

Organization

Wednesday, February 26th, 2003

I’ve finally gotten around to organizing all of my downloads…all images and fonts are in folders so I know where they all came from. I’ve cleaned out images as well so that I only have stock or permission granted photos. Now I just have to create my credit files. Certain images have certain special credits, so I need to make sure to gather all that and keep it on file. I also have one more image site to get my photos organized for. It feels good to know it’s all in order and I don’t have to dig for credits anymore.

Pizza Chips

Tuesday, February 25th, 2003

Allison’s entry about potato chips got me to remembering about Keebler’s Pizzarias (Pizza Flavored Chips). Those were the best chips ever and I still get cravings for them. I could eat a whole bag. The website doesn’t mention them but I did a search and confirmed that they were a Keebler product. So what did I do? I sent them an email via the website asking them whatever happened to those fabulous chips. The website says they will reply usually in 72 hours. I hope they do. I’m curious what they will say. Oh, I did check their list of discontinued products and it isn’t there, so for now it’s just a mystery.

Movie Mayhem

Monday, February 24th, 2003

Watched a few movies this weekend: Blue Crush, The Good Girl and Murder by Numbers. All pretty good. The Good Girl was slightly strange and sad, but interesting. Murder by Numbers was ok. It didn’t grab me like some of hers do. I felt slightly disassociated with it. Blue Crush was great. I was wishing it had lasted longer than it did. That is what I did this weekend besides spend some time with Jenn.

Friendly Fun

Had a great time with my friend yesterday. We went to lunch then went shopping. Too bad she had to leave so soon. She may be back though and with our high school reunion in August, I’ll see her then also. It was so strange talking about the old days. I’ve known her since 5th grade…we lived across the street from each other till we graduated and went our separate ways. She still lives in the same area so she was updating me on some of our old classmates. It was really weird. I know our reunion is going to be bizarre, but I’m looking forward to seeing what everyone is up to now. I think many of them have children. It seems like everyone I know has kids but me. Oh well, maybe one day, I’ll catch up. Although I want kids, I don’t think I’m ready to give up my “play” time yet. And with other things going on, the time isn’t right. When it is…everything will fall into place. Just like our wedding and marriage. :)

Anyway, we had a good afternoon talking about the days of old.

Good times, Old Friends

Tuesday, February 18th, 2003

A friend of mine from high school will be in town this weekend…or that’s the plan as of right now. We have been emailing back and forth trying to plan to get together during her short stay. I haven’t seen her in about 5 years so I am definitely looking forward to seeing her again. Hey Jenn, hurry up and get here! She’ll also get to meet my hubby finally. The last time I saw her I was just recently engaged. I can’t wait till this weekend. :)

In sadder news, from what all I read on my newly diagnosed condition, people with FMS discover new areas of pain. I have discovered a new area of pain. My right knee. I didn’t do much driving this weekend, till we were about 1/2 hour from home, when my husband got sleepy. I took over and by the time I got home, my knee was throbbing. It still hurts like crazy and only feels worse when I drive, of course, since I use my right leg to press the gas and brake. Go figure!
