Pet Peevery: The husband
I love my husband. We’ve been together for over 7 years, 5 of those we spent engaged…yes, we had very long engagement. I can’t imagine life without him. But, he can be so annoying sometimes. And he knows it. What is so annoying?
He doesn’t put the roll of toilet paper on the holder…just sets it on top of the holder. I got onto him the other day. And today…the paper was actually on the roll. I think this is a guy thing. Let see how long he keeps it up. I can say that he does put the seat down…hurray! He takes his clothes off inside out. That really bugs me because every article of clothing I wash must be turned right side out. I think sometimes he does that just to bug me, cause he knows how much it irks me.

My kids and hubby do that exact same thing with the toilet paper… LOL
Rayne, please do not get me started on pet peeves with my husband. We have been together for nearly 13 years…married for almost 8. I gave up nagging him a long time ago. It did absolutely no good. So as much as it drives me up the wall, I continute to pick his stuff up every single day….with a smile. LOL
Men! I continuously nag that I’m the family maid because—- well, I do all the pickin’ up of things. Mostly all of them. But, I love my family to pieces so I keep naggin’ and they keep ignorin’. Hehe—
I just wanted to let you know that I love your new layout
I do not mind my wife complaining about me, but she cannot talk much. She leaves her hair clips all over the house, cars, and in pockets of clothing, and then complains because she can never find them.
Also, she mentions my socks, but she has had 2 pairs of her socks, and a pair of shoes sitting next to our futon for about a week. I have not said anything about them just to see how long they would be there.
I did actually pick up my sock…but I haven’t been in that room in a few days. Yes, my hair clips are everywhere…it’s a woman thing! We have to have then everywhere we go, just in case.
When will women realize that men are from a different planet? They don’t even think the same way we do! And why do you continue to pick up after them? The clothes washing – wash them inside out and fold them inside out. One time a friend of mine did that, and her guy wore his shirt to work inside out and didn’t even notice until his work mates started laffing at him. I think we do equally annoying things, such as taking forever to do our hair and makeup, going to bed with horrible tshirts on, or making them watch cheezy chick flicks. I think if we stop trying to make them more like women, we’ll be ok. Men are men, they will never change.
