Sadie was spayed
Sadie has bee spayed. I know she is still getting over it…it only happened yesterday, but I’m loving her calm quiet manner. She isn’t up running around like a crazy dog. She is just content to lay there. And for the first time I saw her curl her paw under while she was laying down. It was so cute. Is it a spayed dog thing? She never did that before, but my parents dog and Kody do. Both of them have been spayed.
Ok, here’s another deal…when my husband went to pick her up, they said it would be a little more than we thought because she was in heat. I never had a clue and everyone says you’ll know. Well, Sadie has pretty much been an outside dog and I’ve never noticed other dogs trying to get into the yard to mate with her. And I haven’t noticed any spots on the carpet or the floor. Her personality wasn’t really different either…well it was but we just got another dog so maybe that was part of it. Who knows.
Anyway, I hope some of the calm she is showing now stays with her after she heals.
