Busy!

Friday, January 31st, 2003

I’ve been sort of MIA this week…or so it feels. I’ve been trying to get a bulletin board set up for a non-profit. I worked forever on it, then decided to try a different board software. So I’ve settled on using Ikonboard. You can see it here. Now I’ve just got to redesign the main site and add links to the new boards and the calendar.

Retarded Movie

Monday, January 27th, 2003

In addition to The Bourne Identity (see last positives), we also watched XXX this weekend. This movie was good, but there were so many scenes that were so unrealistic, you find yourself saying “I don’t think so!” or “No way can that happen!” The plot was good, and I found it interesting, but I think they really overdid it with some of the action.

The Bourne Identity was great. I really enjoyed that movie. The action was good, the plot was good and Matt Damon was good. :D I think I liked Minority Report better [that movie kicked a**], but it was still a good movie and one I’d see again.

She’s Doing What?!

Sunday, January 26th, 2003

I was out hanging with friends last night and one of the guys turned on Cinemax. We all know that after 9pm the only thing Cinemax shows is soft porn. Well, I looked up and recognized the naked woman on the screen. To my surprise, I realized I’d seen her on television before…many watch her everyday. She is none other than the actress who plays Beth on Passions. I’m guessing the soap salary just isn’t cutting it…her hair style is the same one she is currently sporting on the soap opera, so I wonder if that film they were showing on Cinemax last night is a recent production. Soap diva by day…porn star by night! I was really surprised…but it’s her decision.

Cold is not a friend

Friday, January 24th, 2003

At least not to women. First, it’s hard to feel sexy when you have multiple layers of clothing on. And cold does not do anything for cramps. Ok, it does…it makes them worse! On my way to work this morning the radio people said it was 15° in Southern Alabama! Yikes! with a wind chill of -8°. That is cold!

Pet Peevery: The husband

Wednesday, January 22nd, 2003

I love my husband. We’ve been together for over 7 years, 5 of those we spent engaged…yes, we had very long engagement. I can’t imagine life without him. But, he can be so annoying sometimes. And he knows it. What is so annoying?

He doesn’t put the roll of toilet paper on the holder…just sets it on top of the holder. I got onto him the other day. And today…the paper was actually on the roll. I think this is a guy thing. Let see how long he keeps it up. I can say that he does put the seat down…hurray! He takes his clothes off inside out. That really bugs me because every article of clothing I wash must be turned right side out. I think sometimes he does that just to bug me, cause he knows how much it irks me.

Nothing

Wednesday, January 22nd, 2003

Wow…my life is boring. There really isn’t much going on besides doing my skins. I’m getting really busy at work with some crazy stuff. My husband is looking for work closer to home…he is getting tired of the hour drive (each way) and I don’t blame him. The dogs are nuts…as always. But other than that, there really isn’t much going on.

Sunday I was really upset because I missed Charmed, but luckily I was able to watch it last night on TNT (they replay the Sunday episode at 9pm CST). It was a really good episode and a turning point in the whole show. I am interested to see where they go from here since Cole has now been vanquished. Maybe Phoebe and Paige can get new boyfriends. And Piper is getting close to delivering so it should be a good season from here on out.
