Home I Agree
It is good to be home. We had a good Thanksgiving with the in-laws. We also celebrated Christmas, since we won’t see them before then. Traffic was horrible coming home yesterday, so we took back roads to avoid the interstates. It was much better.
I got 2 new cookbooks, so I guess I will be doing quite a bit of cooking in the coming weeks/months. At least that is the plan. Of course I have no idea what to cook tonight and I’m already dreading it. I don’t particularly like cooking during the week, cause I get home tired and don’t feel like doing anything. But I hope to change that and start cooking more.
Went shopping with my MIL and SIL. Bought a few new cross-stitch projects to work on. Of course I have to finish the one I’ve started (several years ago), but I’m getting back into it, so it shouldn’t take me long.
We picked up the doggie from the vet today…she doesn’t travel well, so she has to be boarded whenever we go anywhere. She was definitely excited to be home…she ran laps around the back yard.
I totally agree with Kym about spending more time away from the computer. I want to play on the playstation more…spending time with my husband. I want to read more books. I want to get back to my crafts (cross-stitch and quilting) That is why my site will be much simpler. It won’t be front and center in the spare time I have…it will be an extra. Something that doesn’t need constant maintaining so that I have more free time to do other things. I hope you all will stick around and keep reading the site.
